The dramatic rocky mountains in Guilin are perhaps the last place you would expect to find teas, yet it is here we found one of the most characteristic teas in the world. The rock cliff tea is fragrant, tender and refreshing, with a hint of sweetness. The locals prefer to call this tea ‘Monkey Harvest Tea’ as they used to train monkeys to pick the tea leaves. This tea is particularly rich in bioflavonoids, we recommend drinking this tea after meals.
